Edith is a Restorative Justice Facilitator trained in both standard and family violence restorative justice processes. Her extensive lived experience addressing family dynamics and harm is deeply informed by restorative practices grounded in te Ao Māori.
Edith’s empathetic approach is shaped by her personal journey and strong cultural foundations. She specialises in whakawhanaungatanga, building trust quickly with individuals who may feel whakamā. Her calm and steady presence, developed through managing her own blended whānau and navigating challenging circumstances, allows her to facilitate hui that are respectful, safe, and constructive.
Edith is dedicated to trauma-informed practices, actively listening, asking insightful questions, fostering a culture of accountability without blame, and compassionately supporting individuals who have experienced harm. Sensitive to the diverse cultural needs of all participants, Edith ensures processes remain inclusive, supportive, and meaningful.
