Our Team is Growing

Welcome

In March Melanie and Angela joined our team. Melanie is working with us part-time as a facilitator and Angela is a contracted facilitator, which means she will be helping us to cover the peaks in our workload.

We welcomed Melanie and Angela with a morning tea, with some of our Trust Board members (including the youngest member) in attendance.

Our team has grown bigger still. Terisa, Edith, and James have also joined as contracted facilitators.

This allows us to better service our community and have greater flexibility in how we deliver our services. We feel incredibility privileged to have a team with such vast experience, who are passionate about our mahi, and dedicated to our community.

Many of us attended the Restorative Justice Conference recently held in Palmerston North. It was a great opportunity to meet facilitators from all around Aotearoa and learn about how they practice.

‍

We attended workshops on culturally inclusive practice, supporting neurodiverse people to participate in restorative justice, we also participated in conversations about how we can all work more collaboratively.

We’ve returned to our mahi feeling energised, excited and inspired.
